Our foils are mainly used in rechargeable batteries, but also in primary batteries. The producer of Li-Ion-batteries uses our foil with Cu-Treatment to enhance the result of their graphite coating.

Foil for coating is used plain as well as in perforated or expanded form.

Silver foil and nickel foil is mainly used in the plain condition.

For tabbing of battery cells our customers use mainly Cu-treated copper foil, treated both sides, slit to narrow widths.

-  ETP-Copper foil E-Cu58 (BS: C101 ; CDA 110) , plain or with Cu-Treatment
-  Silver foil, plain
-  Nickel foil, plain

Strip thickness:       0.010 mm - 0.100 mm (0.0004" - 0.004")

Width:                     1 mm - 650 mm (0.04" - 25.6")
                               (depending on strip thickness)

                               silver foil only availabe up to 350 mm (13.8")



Format:

available in coil or cut to sheets, not levelled


Coil sizes:

ID: 150 mm (6") plastic core
ID: 76 mm (3") steel core
Other cores-ID on request

Tabbing foils are available on special plastic cores with side-shields or on traverse wound spools. ID‘s for special cores and spools on request.
