Environmental responsibility has a long tradition in the Schlenk Group. Both production plants and our headquarters are located in lovely landscapes. This alone would be reason enough to handle our environmental resources with great care.

At the very least, all our buildings and manufacturing equipment meet the rigorous requirements of the German environmental laws regarding noise, air and water pollution. Energy savings are obvious.

Metal left over from our production processes is sorted into grades. The bulk of it is used as high grade pre-material in the production processes of other companies in the Schlenk Group. Metals which are not included in the production program of our sister companies are re-melted to high grade raw materials in the casting departments of our pre-material suppliers. We are proud to have reached a level of 100% in our recycling activities.

Obvious signs of the attention we pay to quality and environmental concerns, can clearly be seen in the certification of our quality management system acc. to DIN EN ISO 9001 : 2000 and our participation in Bavaria’s environmental scheme "Umweltpakt Bayern".
