1.2.  Company Policy

The Schlenk-Group is a family-owned global player.
The manufacturing and sales of high-quality industrial commodities lies at the heart of its business activities, and metal pigments and foils make up its commercial core interests.
Our domestic customers and those abroad craft top-quality end products using our produce.
They are eligible for being supplied with technically high-performing and easy to handle materials.
We ensure our customers to provide them with constant quality based on agreed or warranted properties.
Our company policy aims at long-term business connections and employee retention.
As our plants are located in ecologically precious regions we attach high importance to a site-oriented environmental policy.
Compliance with legal and agreed environmental standards is a natural and vital part of our philosophy.
We place high value on the interested public and consider the responsible authorities as partners. And we pay respect to the interests of our neighbours. We perceive economical consumption of resources as absolutely binding. This is true for our manufacturing processes as well as for our products. Hence we clarify all environmentally relevant issues already during the development phase. We strive to avoid any trash wherever possible, or dispose all waste professionally.
Adequate means and the best technology available help us to reduce environmental pollution to a minimum – even beyond applicable regulations. Our suppliers are fully involved in this process.
Executives act as idols and thus their staff is instructed to act environmentally sound.
All activities that have an influence on production, provision of services, environmental protection, workplace safety, and quality, are carried out by employees who have the necessary qualifications. All staff involved is being trained internally and externally, and further education on the respective activity also takes place at the workplace.
The executive board specifically supports the company policy and its objectives, and responsibility is shared by all hierarchical layers.
The executive board informs itself via internal and external audits about the functionality of the management system and provides the necessary financial means to realize a continuous improvement process.
Thus we ensure that our company policy is being implemented effectively.
