Effect pigments, aluminium pigments, gold bronze pigments, vacuum metallized pigments

Textile printing with the use of metal pigments is strongly influenced by fashion trends. In direct printing, the motifs are screen printed (e.g. T-shirts) or rotary screen printing is used (roll material).

With transfer printing, the motifs are printed onto suitable substrates using gravure or flexo printing and then transferred to the textile material by ironing, for example.

Depending on the desired effect, coarse pigments (for high metallic brilliance) or fine pigments (for good coverage) or combinations of pigments are used. For applications that demand higher resistance and/or more authentic appearance, special coated pigments are available for both silver and gold effects.
