The market for SCHLENK products has been developed in China since 1981. In 1998, Schlenk Asia Ltd. was established in Hong Kong as a distribution company.

In 2003 Schlenk Metallic Pigments (Shanghai) Ltd. was founded, which then moved from Pudong to its present location in Songjiang in 2008. A sales office and a technical application laboratory for the paint and printing ink industries provide comprehensive customer service.
