Grandal® 9800-2G – Premium non leafing silver dollar pigment
SCHLENK has strengthened the range of Grandal® with a very fine non-leafing silver dollar pigment in granule form. Grandal® 9800-2G is the result of the up scaling process of Grandal® 9800 and is now available in large quantities.
Application fields for Grandal® 9800-2G
The product is perfectly suited for several substrates and printing machine settings in flexo and gravure printing. Grandal® 9800-2G is suitable for both silver effects and polychromatic metallic colors (imitation gold). Exceptional performance and metallic effects and can be achieved in label and packaging printings. In addition this pigment can deliver exclusive effects for wallpapers and giftwrap paper.

With its small particle size the Grandal® 9800-2G is the right choice for achieving the highest coverage while still offering strong metallic brilliance even in polychromatic metallic colors. The use of Grandal® 9800-2G/80 enables ink formulators to reduce the pigmentation level significantly in comparison to other existing silver dollar pigments.
